Aria’s Carbone, which I’ll likely start to pronounce Carb-One to upset our friend Han, will allow me to get my Italian fix. Libertine Social, which I have an unmatched and unhealthy affinity for, sits in Mandalay Bay’s restaurant row. To eat, there’s plenty to satiate even the most discerning of appetites. Cosmo’s wraparound terrace is a bucket list room for me, so I need to keep it in play. I’ll continue to lay my head at my favorite south Strip resort, The Delano, or in what is likely the most comfortable bed in all of Vegas at The Aria. I’ll be able to stay at some of my favorites. For video poker with a drink and a view, there’s no better place than Cosmo. Additionally, Treasure Island remains one of the best casinos on the Strip for table game gamblers with any bankroll. Excalibur is a legitimately fun, if aged, casino. I’m giving up the quality gambling of the Cromwell, low rollerdom of the Caesars properties and Casino Royale, and the opulence of the Venetian/Palazzo and Wynn resorts. ![]() While it was a harder decision than I anticipated, I’m choosing to banish the east side. Others note it’s partially a division of MGM and Caesars loyalists. Consensus from the comments points to this being a choice between the luxury of west vs. You folks choosing a side based on DTLV locations are absolutely playing out of bounds here. You can only stay, gamble, and eat/drink on either the west side or east side of the Las Vegas Strip for the rest of your Vegas visits.
